In-flight caterer MacroAsia Catering Services

In-flight caterer MacroAsia Catering Services was rated the best in the world by Singapore Airlines in 2012.

This was learned on Wednesday from MACS general manager Rhodel Esteban who said by email the catering firm was cited for excellence of service during the year and rated the best in a field of 15 other competing catering service providers worldwide.

"MACS bested 15 catering stations in Group 1 (stations handling 15 or more weekly flight frequencies) within the Singapore Arilines (SQ) network on the strength of the company's excellent catering products and services," Esteban said.

MACS executives received the award only recently from SQ general manager Ranjan Jha and station manager Kelvin Kwan in brief ceremonies at MacroAsia's catering offices at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport or NAIA complex in Pasay City.

"This prestigious award and recognition rightfully belongs to MACS and SQ Manila as they remained focused in achieving the high quality standards set by Singapore Airlines," Esteban said.

DAVAO CITY, Feb. 14, 2020 (PIA) -- The Davao Tourism Association (DATA) recently held the first-ever One Davao Culinary Night which featured indigenous inspired dishes concocted by its member chefs . Founded in 1974, the DATA is a group composed of stakeholders coming from tourism-related establishments in Davao Region. Sourcing of Agricultural Products

DAVAO CITY, Feb. 19, 2020 -- The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) signed partnership agreements on Monday, February 17, 2020, with various government agencies and a private institution for the sourcing of agricultural products from agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARB) in this province.
